Learn more about Oakhurst

Oakhurst is hailed for its natural beauty and mountains while top attractions include Yosemite National Park. This welcoming city has something for everyone including restaurants as well as sights like Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad and Sierra National Forest. All are within a scenic setting.

Rainbow Falls can only be seen by hiking the 2 additional miles from Devils Postpile (0.4 mi) from the trailhead. The only way to reach the trailhead is by taking a shuttle inside Devils Postpile National Monument in Mammoth, California. The hike is easy but fairly open so it can get pretty hot in the summer, but the view of Rainbow Falls is absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend making the trip if you’re in Mammoth.
