It is an experience. We had a lot of Western people staying at the same time and they did not stop making noise until 3am, had the worst night sleep inna very long time. Staff nowhere to tell people to be quiet.
Clean, near to the train station. Would be good if the sleeping pod has more ventilation.
Overall good.
First time staying in capsule. Very clean and quiet. Can hear your neighbours talking and snoring. Bigger luggage cannot fit in the locker but can leave it at the reception. Toothbrush, towels, floor mat, slippers are provided. Enjoyed the experience.
Nice and clean. Staff are very helpful.
Never stayed in a capsule pod before but it was very comfortable, the locker and amenities were easy to use and clean.
The design of the hotel is compact, yet very next-generation. The pods were cosy and roomy and the toilets were very clean. Overall, its clinically comfortable to stay at Nine Hours. Guests were respectful of each other's spaces. It's very quiet inside the pod and within the hotel, so making too much noise would make you an undesirable neighbour. Opt for the breakfast package, you will be directed to a good 3rd wave coffee joint near the area.
It was an amazing experience; I love how friendly and helpful all the staff there are. Cleanliness and service is five-star and I will definitely return to Nine Hours Otemachi-Imperial Palace when I go back to Tokyo. On the downside, the pillows are really hard so a softer one would make the capsule experience way better but there's nothing to complain about.
First time trying out capsule hotel, overall it is not too bad. I liked the fact the floors are gender specific. My floor has restroom and locker on the same floor. I think the space is big enough, good air circulation. You can hear people snoring, also noise in the morning! Good for a short stay but not sure if you stay for more than one night.
Sparkling clean, good wifi, super nice showers. Staff speaks good english. This was my first time in a capsule hotel and it was more comfortable than I was expecting. The capsules did not have doors (as I expected), just curtains, but it still felt very private. It's a downgrade from a hotel, but a big upgrade from a hostel. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, but you're a short walk from a bunch of restaurants. Downsides: You have to be completely out of the capsule by 10am every day (but you can leave your stuff in the locker). The lockers are really narrow, so it was hard to access them when there were other people at their lockers. There wasn't really a nice common space to hang out, and you can't really hang out and chat or anything in the dorms. Finally, the breakfast was just a coupon to a nearby coffee shop for a coffee and a pastry. It was good, but not really breakfast.
