"I was honestly pleasantly surprised by this hotel and ended up enjoying it way more than I expected. The location was one of the best parts — it’s way up in North Myrtle Beach, so you’re away from all the crowded, hectic tourist traffic and hustle of the main strip. The beach area felt quieter, more relaxed, and the views were fantastic.
The property itself is a little dated, but everything seemed to be kept in pretty decent condition. The pool area was large and enjoyable, and while the hot tub smelled a little odd, it was hot and working fine. The real hidden gem was the outdoor cabana bar area behind the hotel. They had live music, cheap beer, bar food, and a really fun laid-back atmosphere right by the beach.
The room completely exceeded expectations. We booked a suite and it was phenomenal — king bed, two bathrooms, separate living area, couch, two balconies/patio areas, and even an in-room jacuzzi tub in the living room. For the price, it felt like an incredible value.
Overall, this ended up being one of the better Myrtle Beach stays I’ve had, especially for the money. Great location, relaxing atmosphere, and much better than expected. I’d absolutely stay here again."
