Kind of gross
We were sad to go from an APA hotel to here. The room was pretty old and actually filthy. There was some dirt texture on the carpet so we always wore the slippers they provided as to not get anything on our feet. There was black dirt/mold on the edges of the wall and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been updated since the 70s. I guess we fell for the display pictures? Our window had no view because it was the blurry glass so all it did was let in light. You're supposed to keep your suitcases under the bed I thought but there was so much dust under it was gross! The tv was tiny and not facing the bed so we were never able to watch anything. At that point, why even bother with a tv at all? The desk was nice to have and we appreciated having a mini fridge despite being old and dirty. There were no outlets near the bed so the only place to charge your phones or anything else was on the desk. Also never heard of a hotel not having ice or an ice machine anywhere on property. The lobby is deceivingly nice and then you get to your room and it's the opposite of the lobby. Hotel is a long block away from Kameido station. Not terrible, and Kameido Clock is a nice mall. Would not stay here again and would definitely not recommend it.

Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. There is a cupboard at the reception where guests can replenish their own room supplies, which was nice. Hotel had a laundry. We stayed here 15yrs ago. We decided to come back as we liked the area. It was quiet, safe and had lots of dining and shopping options. Area is not a touristy area which is nice to come home to after a busy day of going around touristy areas. Hotel and room were outdated though and could use a little refresh. Toilet is small and cramped. Bigger and taller people would not feel comfortable inside. Appreciate that the room had its own microwave, washing sink and fridge. Room had lots of mirrors and a full length one too, which is always a bonus when travelling.

Although we knew that the room was small, as a couple we it difficult to even use the toilet door while the other one was seated. Apart from that though everything was very good. Hotel seemed to be mainly used by Japanese people who are maybe long-term.

Great stay at MyStays. I should have gotten the non-smoking room? I was confused when booking. Overall, great experience. Miss Mirohoshi was very kind.

Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood not to far from Akihabara by train. Only negatives I had about the hotel were the lack of outlets, there was only one available under the desk. I had to unplug the microwave to have access to another outlet and the 2 other outlets available were over by the sink, which could be dangerous if water got on any charging electronics.

Stay was comfortable and convenient next to Kameido station. The only thing is that if you are really tall and wide, the room will be very small. Bathroom is tiny as well and our two luggage’s fit but did make it tight. Other than that, it was great

The room was a decent size and very clean. I love how it was walking distance from kameido clock and kameido station. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. Our one week stay at this hotel was awesome, would definitely do it again.

This Hotel should be a 5 Star hotel
This Hotel is perfectly seated in a beautiful neighborhood in Tokyo. It was peaceful and quiet, far away from any touristy areas. This hotel was conveniently located near the Chou Sobu line, which took you all the major cities efficiently. As for the hotel itself, the exterior of the building looked very modern. The staff were readily available to cater to English speaking guests. They were exceptionally friendly. The room itself was decently sized and did not seem claustrophobic. I chose a smoking room as a nonsmoker myself, I was a bit concerned that the room might’ve smelled like cigarette. However I could not detect any strong cigarette odor that would bother me. All in all this hotel was phenomenal for the price I paid. I will be back to this location if I plan to stay in Kameido again. Thank you kind staff for making my trip to Tokyo one to remember.

Staff are very kind and nice. Room is clean and affordable for the price. The hotel is only a short walk from the subway station and right next to a shopping mall. An inconvience was the bathroom roof was leaking water in my room on the 2rd day of my stay. Thankfully, the staff was able to switch my room for another one. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay for the price point.

i thought the area was really lovely, though the room was quite small. this is to be expected in tokyo as typically the more you pay the better location. i was pretty happy with it overall
