I recently stayed at APA Hotel Asakusa Shin-Okachimachi Ekimae and I couldn’t have enjoyed my stay anymore! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. Check-in was seamless, and my room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area. Rooms are small but have everything you require for a good price. Good quiet location inbetween a lot of the main tourist attractions making travel convenient whilst being far enough out to be away from the craziness. Only struggle was the lift is very busy at most times and the stairs are external, so not ideal of on the 12th floor and you have a fear of heights.

Ludacris elevator situation
All in all, I wouldn't stay here again. The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is young and moderately helpful, but: The entire 14 floor hotel is funneled through 1 elevator. If you have a room on the lower floors and wish to leave during "rush hour", the elevator will inevitably ascend to 14 and then pick up people wishing to descend on its way down. Carriage after carriage will arrive on the the 3rd floor packed with people from the upper floors. (The trick is of course to board the empty elevator on its way up, and thus secure a spot). This review probably sounds ridiculous. Trust me, it feels ridiculous when you stand there waiting. And while it may seem like a thing that happens only every now and then, it is definitely something i experienced multiple times during my one week stay.
