Disgusting
This was easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Do not stay here. I checked in for a two night stay for a wedding. The location around Lake Eola was lovely but the hotel was not. The first thing I noticed was a massive hole in the wall that was filled with insulation. Then I noticed the floor was not level at all, the furniture was damaged, the blinds had black marks on it and were also damaged. There was a gap underneath the door so you could hear everything going on outside including the sudden jarring noise of someone’s door slamming shut. The bathroom had water damage with rust visible on metals and uneven flooring so the water would pool up outside of the shower area since there was no shower door or even a curtain. The worst part of all, was seeing a roach walking along the walls. After seeing all this, I asked them to at least refund for the 2nd night stay so I could find another hotel. They lied about some technical issue saying that you cannot be refunded after checking into their system which is nonsense since a friend of mine who was attending the same event, tried to cancel after I told them what I experienced and they were told that they couldn’t cancel the first night but could do it for the 2nd night despite them not being present in the building and “checked into their system”. I asked for them to connect me to the manager to discuss getting the 2nd night refunded but they went ghost. Stay away.

Has potential
Extremely difficult to get to property as every other road was closed. Elevator wasn’t in service, toaster barely worked, (bathroom was newly remodeled however) but property extremely dated and old including carpets decor, coke machine was non functional, tv was non functional, pillows were massive. Needs a lot of renovations. Great location and staff was lovely however.

Lovely hotel just ditch the plastic!
Really cool hotel in an excellent location. Lot's of good things to say but they need to change their waste habits. I can't believe how much plastic they use! Plastic water bottle everywhere, no tap water available, fruit wrapped in plastic? Plastic is not our friend!

Dont do it!
Help was awesome. Hotel photos were deceptive. Hotel needs a redo, room was clean but not in good condition,very thin walls, door wouldnt shut. Very loud. Homeless outside all around. Located downtown. Id recommend staying somewhere else.

Not recommend and not worth your money
Hotel is very poor . The bed is really firm very uncomfortable. The balcony is shared among 5 rooms horrendous it make you feel unsafe. My the mirror was broken very unsafe. Location for downtown ok. Next to an empty building with a few homeless people on the porch..I do not recommend this hotel. Staff not welcoming. Parking very limited.

A mixed bag
From the parking lot to the lobby, it was a bit sketchy. The room is nicer but still needs maintenance. Paint patches on the wall, dried gunk or poor caulking job around the shower drain... Yuck. Not much insulation from the outside as I could hear traffic and car radios all night. Besides that, a comfortable bed, bedding and pillows. Excellent towels and water pressure in the shower. Just a mixed bag ..

We have stayed at this hotel for Thanksgiving for several years. Since last year, it looks like they've replaced all the furniture, flooring, tiles, paint and bathrooms. The place looks incredible! Also, unlike other visits, there was a least one person at the front desk every time we walked by.
