My partner and I loved staying here. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. The breakfasts were lovely and it was incredibly convenient for us to get around. The room was cozy and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Not to mention, the overall atmosphere of the hotel was inviting and warm. Would love to stay here again next time we’re in Kyoto!

Really nice hotel in Gion with tons of action, shopping, restaurants, temples, and tourists attractions nearby. Excellent service, tasty Japanese/ Japanised Western buffet breakfast, and even a onsen-style public bath (separate for men and women). Easy to get to with train and subway.

Everything was amazing. Perfect location. Only thing is the room cleaning which is every 3 days due to “eco-friendly” however they leave clean towels everyday at the door? Eco friendly wants to save water. I would suggest room cleaning with no towel change unless requested.

Great place that’s very efficient!
This hotel is in a great location, kept up impeccably well, and at a reasonable price (for Kyoto!). Rooms here are small (you’ll have to live out of your luggage) but the beds and bathrooms are perfect. My only issues were our basement room (we agreed to it to shave the cost, but if I went again I would have upgraded to a view) and the tv is not foreign-friendly. They have an Apple TV you can hook up your account to, but I was not able to get mine past some regional permissions so I depended on a previous guests account!
