Go to the Hilton a few minutes away!
Maybe we had a one off experience, but it did NOT match the good reviews this place had. The bed was beyond rock hard, after the first night our AC stopped working and we both woke up in a puddle of sweat. The breakfast was $3300 yen which is pretty steep for cold chicken, cold eggs and cold sausage. The miso soup was good though… Don’t attempt to try laundry, for the 2 nights we were there it was full 24/7. Finally on check out day there was an open machine and even after another 30 minute dry cycle, our cloths were wet. If you want cold food, no AC, stiff beds, and poor laundry this your place!

Absolutely amazing hotel, 5 star service
I had the most wonderful stay at the Blossom Kyoto. From Wu at the front desk getting me settled to Konishi the amazing acupuncturist who is one of the massage therapists on call, the staff was amazing and so helpful. Most of the staff speak English super well but they all carry small translation devices to help as needed. The hotel and facilities, including lobby, restaurant and bath/spa area are brand new and immaculately clean, the rooms are clean, elegant and comfortable, and the half board includes an excellent breakfast buffet of both western and Japanese food, as well as a lovely light lunch. Near the gym/bath/fitness area there is a well equipped laundry room and a lounge area with free tea, juices and premium snacks, open most of the day. The front desk helped me with so many things, from translating Japanese on the good luck charms I got from a nearby temple, to getting my suitcases shipped to my next destination. Housekeeping staff was also wonderful with extra towels or any other request. The location is also perfect to go to many parts of central Tokyo. Thank you for a memorable and super comfortable stay, Blossom Kyoto!!
