the location of El Jaguar was perfect. The rooms were really clean but there were some maintenance issues that we came across but the staff was quick to respond and find a solution. I would definitely give them an opportunity again

Poor communication with staff during check- in and check-out. The guard at the door was very nice and helpful,he was ready at 6am to open the gate for us. There was no water pressure. Breakfast was good and place was clean.

El servicio era excelente, también las precauciones COVID. La vista al Teocali de Teotihuacán, era hermoso. Excellent customer service, excellent COVID precautions. Beautiful view of Teotihuacán. Próxima vez que vengamos, nos quedaremos en este hotel. Next time we return, we will definitely stay at the same hotel.

TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!
We had 2 rooms reserved and paid for in advance, We got there and one room had been given away. Consequently, we left and stayed at a nicer hotel not far away. No one spoke English, as well.

Not Organized
When we check in the hotel after 3 p.m. the front desk didn't know that we have a reservation. We waited 15 minutes for our room. We were told that the breakfast is served between 8 and 10 a.m. When we got down at the dining room/restaurant, someone else said 9:30, so we went back. We then waited another 20 minutes before we got our breakfast. The breakfast were good, but we waived 2 hours of our time. I don't think I would recommend it to anyone. Room was clean though.

I booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool. It turned out that the pool had absolutely no privacy as it was right next to a restaurant that welcomed groups of tourists, with no privacy between the pool and the hords of tourists. Also, next door there's an outdoor bar, so we couldn't sleep until 1am. This is every night. It felt like trying to sleep inside a pub. The hotel is very clean, although I felt deceived

Hidden Treasure
Wonderful little hotel. Very clean and overall in good condition (only a few little beauty issues). Very close to the pyramids of the Sun and Moon, which is why we stayed. Hopefully you know some Spanish as there are only a few people that have English speaking skills. Ask for Tanya, Mario or the other young gentleman in the shop.

Close to Teotihuacan site
One of the reasons I chose the hotel was for its swimming pool. It was out of commission the two days we were there, supposedly for cleaning. Our morning meal was not served until nine am, since that is when the downstairs restaurant opens. There was no overnight desk clerk, so we were on our own upstairs. Supposedly there was a night watchman, but I think the ´watchmen´were two nice dogs. The grounds and restaurant are spectacular, with wonderful murals, a faux ball court and lots of green space. The restaurant buffet was delicious, but very pricey by Mexican standards.

A True Mexican Experience
If you want a true mexican experience, this is the place. We stayed a week and there were only 3 other guests during our stay, so basically we had the hotel to ourselves. It is very small..only 12 rooms and sits above an event center. The staff treated us as if we were their family and were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The food was very good and the buffets were outstanding. The staff arranged taxis and transport for us whenever and wherever we wanted to go. The tourist information officer took us to tour the local lapidary workshops and factories. If you are looking for quiet..this is not the place... if you are looking for a chain hotel experience ... this is not the place... If you are looking for an authentic Mexican experience... This IS the place.... Oh and it is very helpful to speak some spanish or at least take a translation/phrase book with you...

If you have to stay in town...
I think it is safe to say this is the nicest hotel in town. Unfortunately, that is not saying much. First thing to note, that I missed, is that there is NO A/C. Yes, you can leave the window open and it is cool at night. But, that leads me to my second point. It was next to the only open bar in town. It's actually more of a club. With loud music until at least 2a. When I say it's close I mean feet, not a city block. We had to switch rooms because almost nothing in our room worked but the last straw was dirty (as in not changed) sheets. The hostess did everything she could to make it right. The 2nd room was better but that doesn't excuse the first room. It is a cute hotel with much potential. The town exists for the pyramids. Most tourists don't stay. They bus in for the day and leave so almost everything closes at 6pm. It makes dinner hard to find.

The best Hotel in Teotihuacan Pyramids area
The photos showed exactly the room I got, and the facilities are even better!!, all new, really comfortable. The bed is like sleeping in clouds. The owner himself was around during breakfast and listen to us about our experience (Thanks Mr. Santos). The breakfast buffet was remarkable!. Great value for an affordable price in one of the most wonderful Archeological places on earth. THANKS!.

the hotel is new but with opportunity areas
The hotel is new the rooms are clean but it feels very unsafe , next door is a bar very noisy with very loud music going on all night ,it's impossible to sleep , no security in the hotel so it's easy that from the bar people can get in, the doors in the room are very thin and don't have a security bolt Price it's very good, the restaurant is very good and the waiters very friendly

Nice hotel next to Teotihuacan pyramids
I had a great stay in this hotel. I arrived hours past check in time, and the hotel still had an onsite check in staff member. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. The parking lot attendant was a sweet older man who asked us if we wanted dinner so he could inform the kitchen staff.. He was very nice and walked us up the stairs to the hotel entrance sliding door. The room tends to get cold but it was winter. Hot water takes time to come out of shower head. The breakfast was served past 9am, very delicious and filling...
