Entgegen ursprünglicher Annahme wurden wir positiv überrascht: Standardzimmer in akzeptabler Größe, sauber und täglich gereinigt sowie täglicher Handtuchwechsel, Frühstück als Buffett mit großer regionaler Auswahl in guter Qualität (Frühstück sollte vor 09:00h erfolgen, da ab 09:00h ein großer Run seitens der Gäste erfolgte und die Kapazitäten an Raum, Tischen, Geschirr/Besteck schnell erschöpft waren). Kundenorientierter guter Service, sauberer Wellness-Bereich mit gutem Service-Angebot bei guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Parken von Auto ist eine Herausforderung (dafür gibt es einen Service: Abgabe des Fahrzeugschlüssels an der Rezeption zwecks Abholung durch einen privaten Service). Zentrale Lage ermöglicht kurze Fusswege in der Altstadt von Istanbul sowie Galata-Port und über die Galata-Brücke zur lauen Moschee, Yeni Cami, Topkapi, Ägyptischer Basar und Großer Basar. Gesamtbewertung aus bisheriger Erfahrung: empfehlenswert. (Hinweis: das Publikum im Hotel ist sehr international, so dass kulturelle Empathie und Toleranz vorausgesetzt sein sollte)
