Great place!!
This hotel was perfect for my daughter & I. The location was great. So close to the beach & sites. They even have parking available if you rent a car. There is a nominal fee but worth it. Everyone was so nice & they have beach items available at no charge. This is not a fancy place but perfect for most everyone’s needs.

Affordable and close to the beach.
For a small, older hotel it was kept up well. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. It is next to a food stand so it can be a bit noisy and there is cooking smoke and smells blowing in if you have the patio door open. It is very close to the beach and beach stores. A good place for the price.

Budget hotel
Great location close to the beach. Older hotel run by a family but it is not high end by any means. Pics don’t show what it actually looks like. Served our purpose for two nights. Beds not that comfy but it was a place to lay our heads. Economical for people on a budget and if u are not planning on being in it much. Very accommodating for letting us leave our bags before and after check out.

This was a lovely place to book for my husband and I. It’s very convenient with how close it is to the beach and the shopping center. I would recommend this place for those who are strictly using it for the direct location to the beach. The property itself was clean And nice however it was a little loud, but my husband and I truly did not care about that at all, but I can see other people. However, if you are looking for affordable, clean, close to the beach, this is the place to rent. However, if you’re looking for most of your time relaxing in a hotel room in silence, I would not think this is the best choice for you especially if you have kids Here, however, and I would book again with them .

For the price, the room was decent. Clean, good size, balcony and nice shower room. The room was equipped with all the necessities for eating in the room when food was brought from outside. Great. The drawbacks for me began with the noise level from sources outside the room. The entrance door didn't seem to fit very well - there was a gap of about a half an inch under the door and the light was visible along the vertical side of the door too. The room looked up at two large buildings one of which had numerous air conditioners. It's Hawaii, so they were running pretty much constantly. The noise from them was quite loud even with the door and windows closed. The second problem was associated with the room having been assigned to someone else - quite suddenly the door opened by someone using a key. Despite having only checks in the day before, for a week, it was thought that it was an unoccupied room. It was sorted out with one exception. I left the room later that day and when I got back after the reception was closed the key wouldn't work to open the door. I had to call the night manager and wait about 10 minutes for him to arrive and reprogram the key. A third thing that was somewhat surprising was when trash cans are full in the room, it's up to the occupant to take the trash downstairs and deposit in a dumpster. I find that unacceptable. Would I stay there again? Probably not. Not worth the saving for the inconvenience.

We love Waikiki Central. The location, for the value, cannot be beat. The room is a good size, beds are comfortable, and it is super clean. There is no daily housekeeping but you can get fresh towels and paper goods any time. They have beach towels, umbrellas, chairs and boogie boards to let. We will stay here every visit.

This was my 4th time in Oahu. I was a little afraid to stay at this hotel because it is to little and 2 blocks away from the beach. Anyways check in was really easy, is walkable to the beach and right next to is a lunch truck that has good food and a good sitting area. There is an ABC store right behind it and all times we felt safe and really comfortable. The only “bad” thing that isn’t that bad really is that they don’t clean your room during your stay, maybe you have to request but we never did. We just got our trash out twice in our stay and they have extra bags in the trash cans. Something that is a must in wikiki is to have microwave, fridge and small sink area, they also provided dishes and caps For that price, amenities, and comfort I will definitely stay here again. By the way I saw reviews complaining about noise but I wasn’t that bad and all night. You’ll be able to rest well unles.
