Learn more about Ringwood

Notable for its gardens, Ringwood features attractions such as New Forest National Park and Moors Valley Country Park. This welcoming city has something for everyone including restaurants as well as sights like Burley Park and Liberty's Owl Raptor and Reptile Centre. All are within a small-town setting.

Mill Lawn Brook. In the New Forest a 'lawn' is any open area of short grass, just like your lawn at home. In this case the grass is kept that way by the ponies and cattle that are allowed to graze throughout the area. This is Mill Lawn, near Burley. The brook attracts lots of tourists in the summer and the lawn is often crowded. Come early though, and you have the place to yourself. Assistant photographer Kirsty, age 8.
