This hotel was close enough to walk to every meal and a plethora of tasting rooms. It was nice, clean, great amenities and easy parking. The only downside was the service. The staff seemed lackadaisical and very under motivated. One example was when getting a coffee in the morning, my husband had to convince the cafe worker to make him a drink which would require her to refill the coffee beans and she clearly did not want to. Additionally, another staff member on another morning refused to make a coffee drink at 6:45 am, and said that the day shift would make it in 15 mins, even though we intended to pay for the drink. Finally, we requested a crib when we booked the stay, again when we filled out the pre-arrival documents, and also called the day prior to confirm a crib would be in the room, yet when we arrived there was no crib in the room. This meant our son couldn’t nap when we arrived and we had to stay h him until bed time. Once again, the location and facility is wonderful, however the staff could use improvement in customer service, especially considering such a nice property and location. (The evening male bartender was fabulous, but I unfortunately didn’t get his name.)
