Excellent hotel, will be back for sure. Very safe with covid guidelines in place. Henry at reception was extremely helpful and friendly, an asset to the hotel.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of town! The room was amazing and had such a great vibe. Drinks were delicious in The Woodsman, as well. The only complaint that I have is that the beds were a bit firm and pillows were not very comfortable.

Fabulous stay in the Tudor side of hotel. Staff were amazing in very difficult conditions. The hotel felt very safe and extremely clean with very amenable staff.

The room was really clean and the decor gorgeous. We stayed in room 707 in the Georgian annexe. My one concern was a loud noise in the room, that sounded similar to a generator. I raised this with reception, as I’m a light sleeper. Reception were not too sure where the noise was coming from as there’s no air con in the room, but it does have vents. Reception offered to move us, but as we were only staying there for two nights, I couldn’t be bothered moving and just intended to get the old earplugs out. I needn’t have worried as the noise goes off at 10pm and comes back on at 6am, which was acceptable. No issues or concerns in respect of covid safety, all guidelines adhered to, and it’s evident that the safety of both guests and staff is paramount. I hope to return next year, hopefully to visit Anne Hathaway’s cottage and Mary Arden’s farm, which were sadly closed because of Covid.

Really good standards throughout - breakfast was excellent. room was comfortable and nicely decorated - great little touches with coffee and small milk available. Only slight negative was the quality of the pillows - but that is probably a personal choice

My review is so late but we had an amazing time here - the Hotel Indigo is probably my favourite hotel ever! As we were visiting during low season Rachel upgraded us to the Tudor suite and it was everything and more! The breakfast is perfect, the cleanliness is fab and the location is ideal. We’re already planning on returning.

Our stay was for my husbands birthday check in on saturday with a really helpful member of reception. However at times service was not very good particularly at bar, staff not attentive enough, waiting too long at times for service. We put notice on door early Sunday morning for room to be cleaned however returned early afternoon not been done or no effort to find out if we needed clean towels loo roll etc.,The breakfast differed both mornings ie full english Sunday am however less full on plate Monday as quite expensive. I have to say a portion of chips to the room cost 10.00 which I could nit believe when I saw the bill !!!
