Wonderful Stay in the Heart of the City
When I arrived, the gentleman at the desk was so helpful. Even though it wasn’t time to check in, I was allowed to leave my bags there. He made sure I was aware if all the amenities and off I went to explore Florence. If you stay there, make sure you take advantage if their rooftop bar.

As a solo traveller it felt very safe here. Quiet and secure hotel with lots of dining options nearby. Infact the location in general couldnt be better. Rooms werent fancy but were clean and comfortable and the rooftop bar was an added bonus- the perfect spot to end a day exploring the city.

It is a 2 star hotel. The air conditioning was barely noticeable. The bathroom was tiny, mildew on shower. No shower door, I guess broken so they put u a sheet of plastic on a 2x2 corner shower. We left 15 mins after booking in and found a fabulous hotel around the corner. Julia July 2024

It was incredible to be able to affordably stay so close to the amazing Duomo and downtown attractions. The bathroom is very small and not the most amazing by our North American standards, but it was clean and decent enough. Some areas looked like there might have been water damage and mold near the bathroom. Shower is not the best. Thinhs are still kept in devebt shqoe considering the age of everything. Very old building (obviously) and it is on the 4th floor ontop of a different hotel. Elevator is small and old, and sometimes busy and crowded, but they prefer you take that instead of walking the 4 flights. Sometimes the door at the top is locked and you need to ring buzzer if you dont take elevator. Location makes up for everything. We literally stepped outside and could walk to the Duomo in 2 minutes. We could see beautiful sights of the city right from our breakfast room. Breakfast was very good with eggs, cheese, deli meat, and lots of other treats. Bed was average. Even though near downtown, was still only 15 min walk to train station. Overall, the price was very amazing given our location, and the hotel area and room, although kind of old and quirky, did the job, and we'd recommend as long as you arent a picky traveller.

Cute little hotel in a large building. We almost missed it while looking for it. We got one of the last rooms that night and it so happened to be the one directly next to the check in desk. The room was charming, the bathroom was super small and comical (we laughed about it). Since we were right next to the check in desk, it was loud in the morning since we got all the traffic from guests and the walls were a little thin. Otherwise, a cute stay and would consider coming back!!

Overall was a great experience. Close to everything. If you have vehicle it can get complicated to navigate and expensive. Roof top bar is expensive and had a required 10 Euro minimum spend requirement. Ended up unexpectedly being about 18 Euro per drink and kind of expensive. However, unique view of Duomo from rooftop is worth it. Suggested improvement No coffee in room and cannot get one before breakfast starts at 7:30am. Automatic Espresso Coffee machine is average and not up to Italian standards.

Very great place to stay as you are right next to many historic sites (Santa Maria Cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower and more). Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and there is a fantastic view of the cathedral from the rooftop bar! Do note that this hotel is located on the 4th floor (there is an elevator, but it is quite narrow) and the beds were "meh." I would stay here again!
