The thing most noteworthy about this hotel was the smell. From the moment you entered the lobby, you were greeted by the stench of sewage. Our room on the 4th floor wasn't quite as intense, but still pungent throughout our 4-night stay. Our room housed dirty, bagged up towels from the previous guests. The single towel hook fell off the wall the second we tried to use it, and the emergency cord in the shower was moldy and dangling halfway down the wall.
I still gave 3 stars because the breakfast was a nice touch, the staff was friendly, and there was AC (though, it was extremely cold and there was no way to adjust the temperature). The location is convenient, though we found it to be very noisy (one night until 3am) and wouldn't want to stay quite so close to the Ponte Vecchio in the future. The bed was comfortable enough and other than the things mentioned above, we had an uneventful stay. It wasn't the worst, but I certainly wouldn't stay there again.
