Clean and comfortable
Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice, including veggie and vegan options. The room itself was a bit "tired" looking and the same goes for the bathroom - both could do with a bit of a makeover. But the bed was large, clean and comfortable and i had everything i needed for two nights.

Firstly I was warm and comfortable with clean bedding and towels. The property overall needs a huge update and clean. Dumped mattresses on the car park and broken glass give an idea to the area. Breakfast was also very nice and staff friendly. One toilet roll. One teabags and one coffee sachet, 1 sugar is laughable I wouldn’t return.

Simple, clean and reasonable value
Perfectly good place to stay whilst on business in the area. Very close to plenty of local shops and services. The public areas of the hotel are getting a bit worn and tired, but my room was clean and quiet - good bonus as near to dual carriageway. The bathroom was in need of some maintenance as the dreaded black mould was appearing around the bath/shower, but overall OK. Certainly a lot better than some of the other hotels in the area at this price point.

Nice hotel, but...
It was an okay stay. Location was convenient and I liked the idea of pub+hotel - easy for dining and drinking isn't it? However, the hotel rooms honestly need a bit of refurbishing and improvement on cleaniness. Shower faciltiies were a bit old and didn't function quite properly and stains were everywhere to be seen. But other than that price is okay.
