I was in town for a week to work with colleagues at UFRN. I chose this place largely by its location - a couple of minutes from the campus. It was an ideal choice, and I will definitely be using it again next time I need to go to Natal. The room was a suite-style, so I could work at a table in the entry room. There is a grocery store right around the corner, so I could stock up for the week and keep stuff in the room's mini-fridge, not needing to go to restaurants for every meal. The hotel breakfast was fairly good, if not particularly varied, but enough options to keep it interesting. Never got around to using the pool, but it looked fairly small. Wi-fi was pretty good, although it did work better in the entry area than the bedroom part of the suite. Still, much more reliable than my experience with hotels in Ponta Negra.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're planning to vacation in Natal - there are comparably-priced rooms much closer to the beach in Ponta Negra, and more luxurious options there as well. But if you are in town to work in the UFRN area, it is easily the most sensible option.
