2/10 Poor

The room we stayed in ( deluxe double) is nothing like the photographs or the description. The bathroom was dated with no shower curtain. There isn’t a fridge, mini bar or dressing gowns. The hotel is on a very busy junction so all night there was traffic noise and horns pepping. We only stayed 1 night out of the 4 we had booked. On a positive note the bed was comfortable and the water was hot.

Budget
Very basic place. Rooms are tight. No windows to the outside. Ripped towels. But for the price and location, if you are looking for a place to just to sleep, Id recommend it to budget travellers. AC worked great and there was an elevator. Owner was very helpful given circumstances.

The hotel is quite different from the pictures. I paid for the superior room, which was supposed to have a city view, but they placed my in a room with no windows facing the outside. Felt very claustrophobic. They didn’t clean my room on my last full day. Disappointing.

We had a spacious room with aircon, tv, WiFi and lots of storage. Staff were around 24 hours and always very helpful. The hotel is also a great location. Walking distance to major city attractions like beer street, train street and plenty of shops and restaurants.

The hotel is in a great location and within walkable distance to the Old Quarter. The rooms were clean (we booked two rooms) and comfortable for the price we paid. The hotel was accommodating and let us check in early which we really appreciated. The owner was also very nice. The big downside is the travel agent Kendy; I don’t recommend booking with him as we did not get what we paid for and his reply was that « sometime in life, we don’t always get what we want. Take it easy »… there’s plenty of travel agency in the Old Quarter where you can just shop around for the same tours he’d sell. Thankfully for us, we paid with our credit card and we were able to initiate a chargeback for service not rendered and get a refund.

Great location and very kind employees, anytime I asked a question they went above and beyond to help me. The room I stayed in was massive and had a pretty view of the city with a balcony. I highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly. Laundry service was great. The location is great. I recommend rooms 204 or 304 because they faced the street with a small balcony. Thank you staff I enjoyed my stay

Overall fine, but not quite as pictured
The location of the hotel is good, with it being easy to walk anywhere in the old quarter and beyond. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, being willing to help us call a taxi and advising us where to buy a sim card. The only problem is that the pictures and some information were inaccurate. The room we selected is depicted as having multiple windows which face the outside, when in reality we only had two windows which faced the stairwell and hallway, with no direct sunlight. Lack of sunlight really affects my ability to wake up normally, leading to very groggy mornings. The upside is that it reduces noise. Some of the rooms' descriptions should therefore be edited to remove the "city view" description. An upside is that our bed was a king, not a double as listed. Otherwise, everything was fine. Solid budget hotel if all you want is a big bed to sleep in during the night.

Great service, but not so "posh".
The service was fantastic, but there were a few issues at the hotel.1. There was no WiFi internet connection for the first day I was there. 2. The room had a lot of noise coming from the bathroom, I think related to the water heater. I was able to reduce the noise by shifting the level on the shower. 3. There was water leakage in the bathroom and the room just felt really musty. The bed was also too soft for my preference. All of that said, the staff made every effort to make the stay enjoyable and deserve recognition for the great service they provided and efforts to resolve the WiFi issue.

The truth
Spent 3 days here .The six million scooters in Hanoi passed the hotel continuously. Room was basic and noisy from 7 in the morning with demolition of next door. On arrival bags were left in lift to collect. Water for shower didn't work one morning and wifi was useless. Picture shown on website is the small hotel under the background hotel. Staff were great
