Rough start ends relatively well.
I was unaware of a 50% holding deposit so had to pay before I arrived.
1hr after this was paid I then had an attempt to take the full amount for the 2 nights stay. I challenged the EPIC team, as when I booked the property via Hotels.com I stated pay at hotel.
I was told by the EPIC team, that they have no one at the sitw so the money has to be taken before arrival. Again, I was not very happy with this, bit I had to pay. The EPIC team advised that I should raise this with hotels.com directly so that hotels.com are able to remove or adjust the option of Pay at Property.
The apartment it self was very nice, clean, a good size, comfortable bed and apprecited the free tea, coffee and milk.location wise, excellent, but be aware if you stay at the weekend, it is rather noisey outside till around 2am due to the local bars and clubs on the street.
The door code to the apartments was changed yesterday, but I was not advised of this by the EPIC team. My friend, was standing outside for over 1hr in the cold as they had come back to the apartment to collect a coat and had to wait for someone to leave the property so they were able enter. EPIC team need tonupdate pwople if the code to the main door is changed via message/email on the day.
I would stay here again, especially now I understansd the process, as the apartmwnt was very nice and at very good price.
