Avoid it
Rooms are very small, pool is smaller than a jacuzzi and I prefer to lose my money and move to a better place. I do not recommend

We loved the family atmosphere of the employees, they were extremely helpful and super sweet and accommodating. We had a special connection with Viviana as she went out of her to chat with and help us with whatever we needed. Marli makes a mean breakfast for super cheap right in the community dining area outside your room. We had a great experience.

Vacaciones en Cartagena
Le agradezco a los trabajadores de Casa Gloria por dejarnos sentir como una casa. Muy bueno el lugar, cerca de todo por el centro. Cuartos limpio, desayuno delicioso y amable. Gracias!

2/10 Poor

They put us on the street front where the dining room should be. They should not allow bedrooms to be sold a foot away from a very busy night life. Saxophone playing, horse and carriages and taxis passing by at all hours, then locals getting up at 5 am to talk with one another just putside your room. Truly ridicjlohs. No sleep

Great location and good value for money. Unfortunately, the apartment closer to the street is a little bit nosy at night.

We only ended up staying one night because the bathtub in the suite broke. I needed to soak for medical reasons, so we found another hotel. But the people working was nice and the hotel was pretty. Our one night there was good.

Great Value
The people that work there are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the morning is good as well. Rosa was a well of knowledge and gave us great tips about the city. The rooms are on the smaller side, but you’re not really visiting to sit in the room all day anyway. The grounds are kept nicely and there’s a water dispenser, sun tan lotion, and various other items for guest use. We would definitely stay again.

This property served our purposes. It was close to grocery store, so we bought a case of water for $0.25 US. It was in the old town and we walked everywhere. We had a suite with a full kitchen, so we had lots of room. But it was facing the street and was noisy. But we are early to bed people.

I love Casa Gloria! We were able to check in a little earlier. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable! Location was of course another huge plus. The owner helped us print a bunch of paperwork needed for our traveling. Cannot recommend more!

Don’t pay for free breakfast they will not honorit
Overall the hotel is well located and well maintained. The rooms were spacious and the pool was nice. However, we paid for free breakfast and despite showing the staff our receipt from Hotels.com they refused to honor it. I just checked Hotels.com and free breakfast is still advertised.

Good Value for the Price
This is a nice hotel for the price. There was a mix-up and I was charged twice for my stay, but the staff helped us quickly resolve the issue so that I could receive my refund.

Got charged twice
This is a cozy hotel in a great location. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. Notice that there are no room pictures included that is because the rooms are very small. I would still would have recommended this hotel if they had not charged me twice. I booked thru Orbitz, Orbitz got my American Exp credit card info. When we checked in they asked for payment info. I gave them my mastercard, I couldn't remember which card I had used on the Orbitz site. They went ahead and charged to both cards. Before we left the hotel, I asked them to reverse the charge on the AmEx. 5 days later, I still see no credit and they are asking for proof from me as if they don't know what they collected. I know eventually, I can get the extra charges reversed but the hassle is aggravating. I can understand an honest mistake but it shouldn't be this hard to get the charge reversed. A professional hotel management would never do this.
