Too cold
The place was neat and nice. However, the heating system was poor. I wish either the home owner re-arranges the curtain so that warm air can blow into the house instead of disappearing inside the curtain or do something so that the house could stay warmer.

Way overdue for updating & roof leaked!
From the exterior, the property was beautiful. The interior layout was good. But the furniture was TERRIBLE! It must have been 10-15 years old! The sofa was so worn, you sank down deeply into it. The other chair was not much better. I wanted to be comfortable while watching TV in the living room but that was not possible with that old furniture! The main bedroom dresser was so cheaply made as well. I will say that the kitchen was redone nicely, and the bathrooms were ok. I should have known better as I stayed at Foxhunt last year in a different condo. It had the same furniture!! I talked to another person staying there and they said the same thing about their furniture!! I told the lady at check in that I would not stay here again until these condos were updated. She said that my comments would be passed along to Management. Sapphire is a nice area. I will choose a different condo complex on my next visit! On our last night, the roof in the living room leaked and it was bowed!! I put a pot on the couch to catch the drips and reported it to the front desk!! (I would welcome comments from management. Thank you.)

Overall i enjoyed my stay at the property. Loved the treehouse feeling. It rained a lot while i was there so didn't get to use the balconies as much as i would have liked. The jetted tub was fun after a day spent hiking. Also enjoyed dinner at the Library restaurant right down the road, and was glad to have an Ingles nearby as well as a gas station. The only thing was check-in process was a bit confusing. The email made it sound like i only had an hour window to check in and also did not mention that check-in occurs a few miles from the actual property. Once i got there the lady was very friendly and helpful.

Out dated and dark
It was necessary to use lights during the day even with all the curtains open. The master had a king size bed but it smelled moldy because it was in the basement. Jacuzzi tub and shower curtain were moldy too.The beds were comfortable though. We stayed in a small bedroom upstairs with a full size bed. The place is a split level townhouse so there's a lot of stairs. The kitchen and living room is on the top floor and the full size bedroom and one small bathroom is on the second level. Then the Master's in the basement. Washer and dryer in basement is a nice feature. Not wheel chair accessible.

The property looked as it did on line. The only thing that I found disappointing was the pool was not at the location where we stayed. It was a short drive but inconvenient. Overall I was pleased .

The fact that the property I booked was a 3 levels one was not clearly described on my booking. I am 87 years old with mobility issues. Had I known I had to deal with stairs I would have never booked this property. Also they only told us at the time of check in that we’ll have to move to another property the last night reason why we decided to check out early

4/10 Fair

The place was clean but dated. Poor lighting in most rooms, old furniture. When we got there we were told they had a water main break and there wasn’t running water. It was to be fixed before dinner time. We went out for the afternoon, came back around 7 to still no water. No on site manager after 5, answering service knew nothing. They said someone would call to update us, but no one called. Water didn’t come back in until 10pm, and it wasn’t usable the rest of our stay. It remained cloudy white even after running all faucets for 20 minutes. We rented a place with a kitchen specifically so we didn’t have to eat out every meal, but ended up having to do that. No compensation was offered. Had they communicated that there still wasn’t water by the time their office closed we would have tried to find other accommodations or at least picked dinner up on our way back to the townhouse. Instead we couldn’t even take a shower to look presentable after an afternoon of hiking, so we could go out to dinner- instead of cooking the food we had brought in the full kitchen that was now useless. The ladies during office hours were very nice, but could only give us a phone number to call for a manager. If we had received a call before their office closed with an update, or from a manager after we called the answering service at 9:30pm for an update, or a manager returned my call after we spoke to the office again as we left, my review would be higher.

Good Stay But Management Company Could Do Better.
The property was great. Unfortunately, check in was problematic. I let the staff know I would be arriving after hours, they said it would be no problem. However, when I arrived to check in at the security office they had no record of my reservation. They had to contact someone with the management company and after a somewhat lengthy delay, I was finally given a townhouse for my stay. The security officer told me to connect with the property management office the next morning as I may need to change locations. I was hiking the next morning and called the office to see what would happen with my reservation. It was before the office opened, so I left a message. They never called back and after hiking all morning, I stopped by the rental office. Staff was apologetic, but could not explain the issue. Overall, it was a good stay, but the management company seemed less than organized and not on top of things. I have stayed in Sapphire Valley several times before, but with a different management company. Those stays had no issues and the management company went out of its way to make sure my stay was going well.
