Lack of emergency response and care
My family got stuck in the elevator due to a power outage for almost an hour. They did not have a generator, and we had to call 911 since the company managing the elevator was not responding. Additionally, the property did not have the emergency key to the elevator.
I had booked two rooms, but due to the emergency, we lost access to one of them. The staff did not have a master key or any means to open the room, and we had to wait approximately four hours to regain access after the elevator incident.
Furthermore, we overheard during the interaction with the firemen that the property lacks many basic safety protocols. Besides the absence of a generator, there were no emergency lights, and the person at the reception did not have access to a master or emergency key.
Despite all of this, we did not receive an apology or any form of compensation from the property.
