We relaxed in the quiet and cozy studio cabin. The goats were a friendly welcome.

This is a tough review. On the one hand I really think Dreamer’s Writing Farm is a cool place. On the other hand there are a few problems: - The Studio we stayed in smelled musty and stale. It was bad enough that my wife and I couldn’t stay overnight. - Some of the grounds were not well maintained. There was a pile of junk not far from our door. - The little creek that is supposed to inspire writing is largely dried up. The accompanying dock and chairs inspire - only a need for sanding and paint. - There is a note in the room appealing people to be considerate about posting negative reviews. The first three can be fixed with some work, but the last one is concerning. The owners somewhat implore you to not post anything negative online - they want to be contacted directly with issues. Notionally this seems responsible - the owners want to be hands on. What’s happened unfortunately is people are not posting anything critical or negative at all. So Dreamer’s Writing Farm gets a very high star rating that in our experience is undeserved. It’s in fact misleading - the rating of ‘Exceptional’ is simply not correct. We have contacted the owners and they seem responsive. We wish them all the best and hope they’re able to turn things around.

It's out in middle of nowhere but it's very pretty and peaceful. The only thing I will say is they are very strict on the no cancellation policy. I made a mistake on the days I wanted to book and couldn't get a refund even after requesting 10 mins after booking. I ended up having to book again for this visit. Just be careful when setting it up.

What can I say about this property. It’s absolutely beautiful. I’ll try to give a detailed unbiased opinion. First shout out to Kat on beautifully maintaining this place. I had a chance to speak to both the owners and they’re polite and very caring towards their guests. Interior: We stayed at their Coupland Bunkie and we were very surprised as to how comfortable it was. Instructions were very clear. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and slept like a baby. There’s a proper space to keep your belongings , shoes and even sit by the bench outside your bunkie to breathe and meditate. There is wifi , air conditioning , heating available for guests which was a plus. We also came with a 2 month old baby and it’s own crib so we can experience outdoors with the little one and baby slept comfortably with no issues. The Sunrise from our bunkie was cherry on top with such a breath taking view right from our bed. Exterior : Great place to meditate , 9 mins from Sauble beach, a cute little farm with the piggies and goats who just love to greet every guest so they can feed them vegetables and fruits. Beautiful secret garden which is great for short walks and breathing , barbecue equipment along with bonfire and maskoka chairs surrounding the firepit. Overall it felt like a glamping experience with a touch of homey vibe. Bathrooms had hot shower and clean towel. Its shared between others so there can be some waiting outside. Highly recommend this place!

It was a very cozy cabin with a comfortable bed and soft mat on the floor. Picnic table outside our door making cooking easy. Worked great for us. We would definitely consider returning again. Thank you

A bit different to the places we would normally stay. We took the tent option and although it was fun, 1 night was enough.

I like the clarity of the rules and that everyone respected them. I like the independence that was promoted and the trust that came with it. It seemed more homey this way. The property was beautiful.

This property is absolutely stunning. I have visited twice now and enjoyed my stay very very much. It’s very close to the beach and town of Sauble with a quiet country feel to it.

When we arrived my husband looked at me and said that I booked a hunted place. Thankfully the owner was in the area and gave me the entrance code because I hadn’t received it by email. In the shower area it was left a bar soap from the previous guest. A few spider webs on the side and behind the bed. I thought it was very expensive for what they offer.

Great little compound of small cabins and cozy tents. Stayed in one of the latter and slept like a baby. Loved the outdoor shower and general vibe. Not for everyone (a little rough around the edges in places), but for the right person, this could be a very nice place to spend some down time to create, meditate, etc.
