Cozy stay before the snow
We left late for our trip up and didn’t get in til after midnight. The owner called us along the way to let us know restaurants were closing early in the area in case we were hoping for dinner nearby that night. When we finally made it up, we were so taken care of we immediately book marked this place for our next trip.

This probably one of the best motels I've stayed at. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. The benches right outside feels like a nice picnic at the park. Great place to say if you're hiking Big Pine Creek! Only 25 minutes from the trailhead.

This is an older well kept motel that has such a positive vib to it. Staff is VERY friendly. Place is immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable. Fresh fruit is offered daily. We highly recommend this place for an affordable place to stay on one of the most beautiful locations in the world along route 395. We will be back!

This is a sweet place with really nice owners. We arrived late and were greeted with water and fruit and a clean room. I truly felt welcomed after a long day on the road. No corporate nonsense, just people who understand how to run a hotel in the Eastern Sierras.

Extremely nice, personable front desk staff that offered us water, fruit and cookies when we checked in. The motel is an older motel but that didn't detract from our stay. We found it very clean. And it was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. This rating is more a 4 1/2 star - 5 for the awesome staff and 4 for the room.

GREAT place to stay for the night! Super friendly host (loved the welcome basket of goodies) we arrived later than most and we smiled and said it wasn't a problem at all - the most comfortable beds and bedding of our entire road trip! Hot shower, good water pressure, clean room, quiet, safe area, parking right outside the front door. Thank you SO MUCH for a great night's sleep!

This motel is similar to the ones we stayed at when I was a kid in the 1950's. The rooms are smallish but adequate. The husband and wife who run it (owners?) are very nice. The ice machine was not much forthcoming with the ice and probably should be replaced. It's a clean and decent place, and I'd consider it again if I were back in the area.
