B&B with a heart
We had a very relaxing long weekend at this B&B owned and managed by husband and wife Lynn and Greg. We reserved the “Castillo” Room. The room was large, fully appointed with all items to assure comfort from soft bedding to water bottles, even by the bathroom sink, to a loofa, to cushy towels. Lynn welcomed us with rose, an orientation on what to do or see nearby and champagne and chocolates in our room. The next 3 days we were served delicious breakfasts, sweet and savory, in our room, carried to our doorstep by Greg. The breakfasts were prepared with TLC by Lynn with personalized “menu” handwritten cards. The portions were varied and generous. One afternoon, Lynn and Greg invited us to an impromptu afternoon feasting on a generous array of charcuterie with another couple and sampling on a few wines. We highly recommend this B&B for the supreme hospitality.

Wonderful experience
This was by far the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. Everything was beyond expectations. From the moment we checked in we knew we were someplace special. The breakfast was amazing. Lynn and Gregg were perfect hosts. They made sure everything was the best for you. Only problem was we didn't stay long enough!

The best B&B For a romantic stay!
The best place to stay for a romantic weekend getaway hands down!!!! The amenities, privacy, and the tastiest breakfast in the morning delivered to your room. Beautifully decorated cottage, with full kitchen, laundry, relaxing bathroom with 2 person jacuzzi. Lots of beautiful wineries around, hiking, cute Calistoga and St. Helena downtown with lots of restaurants. Will be back again! 😊💕

From the moment we turned into the potter Hill property I knew we were in a special place. Trees arching over the drive and flowers everywhere. We were greeted by Lynn and she quickly made us feel welcome and encouraged us to enjoy the property. She inquired about any dietary restrictions and offered a choice of times for delivery of breakfast to our door. We stayed in “Castella” which is a very private cottage. When we opened the door my husband went “Wow”. A strong statement from him! I had done the booking but it is even larger than I expected as was the deck in back. We were traveling with bicycles and a lot of luggage and there was so much space ! There was also a bottle of Mumm’s champagne on ice on the table 😊 Now breakfast. I think the two days we spent there we had the two best breakfasts of our lives. Gregg, Lynn’s husband, came each morning wearing a chef’s coat and carrying a large basket with three courses of breakfast, different each day, plus OJ, coffee and cream, and a piece of fresh fruit for later. The presentation was delightful and the food delicious . The perfect breakfast for a day of wine tasting or bicycling in the valley. When we left, we booked our next stay!

Best B&B
There are not enough words to describe our wonderful stay at Potter house. This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and it was just spectacular. Gregg and Lynn are amazing hosts that truly welcome their guests and make them feel like family. They put so much care and thought to their guests comforts and needs you don't even feel like you aren't home. Not to mention Lynn's amazing breakfasts with her wonderful menu cards. They set the bar high and now any B&B we stay in will be compared to Potter house. Can't wait to stop in again

Best B&B!!!
We've been to Napa, specific Calistoga, many times before and always wanted to stay at a B & B. My husband being the most wonderful, thoughtful man he is, made our bucketlist & my bday wish come true. We stayed at the lovely Foothill Potter's Inn at the beginning of February in the Palisades Cottage which itself was the epitome of what we envisioned a private B & B would be. Thanks to Lynn & Greg whom made our stay epic! My husband coordinated w/Lynn to set up bday surprises for me when we arrived. The cottage is secluded and so cozy and the BREAKFAST--Amazing! It was cutely delivered every morning (at an arranged hour) in a basket. From the dishware to the home accents, all these details made our stay so memorable. We definitely are spoiled and see no other way to stay in Calistoga after this!
Upon arrival..
The view of the rain from the reading nook
Jet bath tub ready for some R &R
Beautiful, peaceful decenscion view of the gazebo yard.

Nestled in the trees such a magical experience. 💫
Absolutely magical💫 Upon my arrival the host met me/ immediately started to roll out the red carpet before we have even checked in. As we chatted about the property and the amenities that were available she may be a lovely Earl Grey Tea. Such attention to detail, to accommodate my dietary restrictions (I’m dairy free and like sugar substitutes. The views were spectacular! The grounds were so inviting. Really romantic and beautiful. I appreciated that she wanted to take the time to ask me what kind of food we did and did not like. The entire three days and she gave me a series of choices of the menu. A delicious variety to choose from each day. One of the sweetest touches staying on a property like this is that the whole families involved. There’s so much pride with each person and their interaction with guest. Truly outstanding customer service .Do you know how amazing it is to wake up in And Nappa retreat with amazing views, Nestled in the trees. A scheduled knock on your door, to deliver the most incredible breakfast basket with fresh baked pastries or muffins every day. Even my gluten free...everything made from scratch. All you would want to wake up to.Juice, coffee ,cream, savory’s,sweets, fruit, yogurt nuts. You name it it was available and included in the room rate. My Hunny! ended up falling in love with a coffee they served ~which is a local blend. ~ gracious enough to share the brand with us. We were quick go into town, and purchase two bags to take home.
