Area too loud
Hotel room walls are not insulated well. I can hear everything outside and my neighbors in their rooms. The hotel is next to train tracks and you can hear them slamming against each other all night.

We chose this motel because it is stated in the description that it is 'pet friendly' with no other mention or condition. When we checked in, the receptionist asked for an extra 10 USD for our cat. Even there, it is not written anywhere. The process is upsetting and dishonest. And what is the extra charge for? Clearly not for cleaning fees. The room was dusty (not to say... hairy), the comforter and the linens were stained and there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom. A place to avoid as there are some other choices in the area.

For the price - you can't beat it with a stick. Very nice bathroom, too. The only issue I had was that there were no hangers to hang clothes on (we had some damp clothes due to swimming). We walked to Macca's and Family Dollar around the corner - that was convenient. Would have walked further, but it was balls to the wall hot.

The staff were extremely nice and the wifi was surprisingly fast. You certainly get your money's worth, but it's still fundamentally a cheap hotel. My room did have a bit of a smell, but I think it's just an aggressive cleaning solution.

Avoid is my recommendation. Room was ready early but “manager” insisted on 3pm check in. Never could get the remote to work for TV. No closet to hang clothes. Beds ok…if you like soft mattress. No enough parking stalls (almost got boxed in). Noisy (trucks, trains, neighbors).

This property was fine except they had no, zero, zilch ice. In the desert. Really ? Also there were no, zero, zilch chairs, closets, places to hang clothes. Nice AC, bed, bathroom albeit no, zero, zilch kleenex.

No frills, no amenities, but if you just need a place to sleep this is the place for you. Cost was only about $50/night. Place seemed clean but there was a big burn hole in the blanket on the bed. You get what you pay for. Very bargain basement feel.
