I paid extra for a city view, and when I opened the curtains, I was facing a brick wall and trees. To see anything, you had to go in the corner of the window and turn sideways to see the limited city view.
I went to speak with them at the front desk, and was referred to someone else, the manager maybe? I do not recall his name, but he was very tall with dark hair. His attitude while dealing with me was very condescending. He said the area has changed over the years, though none of the building around the area were new. He also said the pics I showed him of my promised view were not from their website, as I booked through hotels.com. I checked the hotel’s website, and it’s the exact same pictures. He said he had one other city view room that was worse than the room they originally gave me. The rest of the staff were great, but this man’s condescending attitude left a bad taste, and I will never stay at this hotel again. I will go out of my way to not book another Hyatt hotel because of him.
