My husband and I traveled to Amara Cay Resort for a 4 night stay and were very impressed with the whole experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food, drinks and service were excellent as well. We loved the reusable water bottles they gave us at check in, I have never been offered that before and thought it was a smart idea! They also had other great things they offered like a shuttle service and fishing. The beach and pool were beautiful even though it was too chilly for us to utilize the weekend we were here. If you’re traveling to Islamorada for business or vacation we definitely recommend staying at Amara Cay!

Easy check in and out, clean hotel and room, hallways could use an air freshener but might be because it’s pet friendly. Pool and beach is beautiful, tiki bar is great as is restaurant on site.

Great atmosphere!
Very nice atmosphere and hotel. However the staff at the bars and restaurants are VERY slow and lack in customer service.
