Not a great experience
Check in was very clear and straightforward with key coded locks. Unfortunately when I went to leave and go into town, the door to the apartment would not re-lock itself and as I had to meet my son at the station, I had to leave all of my belongings unsecured. The host did quickly respond to my e-mail about this but he’s loutish offered didn’t work.
Fortunately nothing was stolen but it meant the door was unlocked all night (we put a table in front of it for at least some security).
The kitchen offers plenty of tea and coffee plus delicious biscuits, so that was appreciated, although the small cup containing what I assumed was white sugar, was in fact salt! (Sachets of salt were provided separately but no sugar).
Our plan was for my son to sleep on the sofa bed, and we found the duvet and pillow in the main bedroom shelving, but there was no sheet or duvet cover provided, so he was forced to sleep directly on a rather grotty mattress that had mould patches and stains on it as per the photos.
Overall, a convenient location and the flat is well presented, but the absence of basic security and bedding did leave me feeling dissatisfied with the overall package.
