The Docks of Biarritz, around the Rue Luis Mariano, is another place hosting night market in summer, usually on Tuesday evenings. The town of Bidart, just south of Biarritz, also has open-air movie theaters in the summer. You can sometimes even find them around Biarritz itself, so keep an eye open for any adverts for them when you’re exploring during the day.

Gare du Midi is a former railroad station that was entirely renovated in 1991 and converted into a cultural center. Built in early 20th century, this beautiful Art Nouveau venue now houses modern facilities and auditoriums with excellent acoustics behind its historical façade and glass roof.

The Cape of Atalaye (Plateau de l’Atalaye) is the top natural landmark of Biarritz and is beautiful day and night, but especially during the sunset. Located between the Grande Plage and the Port Vieux, this is a geological formation standing out to a height of approximately 15 meters.
You can get a spectacular view from the top of the rock, which you can climb on foot. There are benches around, so you can sit and enjoy the splendid sunset panorama over the Basque coast and admire the Rocher de la Vierge.
