It is in dire need of refurbishment. TV did not work, no towel rail, cold water basin tap did not work, shower very poor. Bedroom doors on strong springs, difficult to open and bang shut on closing. Disappointing as lovely location and great views.

Friendly staff, and we were upgraded ! Great view of the loch. Road was a bit noisy at times, not bad though. Stayed only a night. Would stay again.

2/10 Poor

good quiet location next to the loch but thats it.shower inadequate and hard to operate.toilet not fixed to floor.smell of damp.sink blocked.bi fold door to toilet hard to close or open.very dated and scruffy.they have obviously been burning rubbish(including a mattress) outside, under our room.rubbish spewing out of the bins which the gulls were taking full advantage of and spreading everywhere.definitely wouldnt stay here again

Do Not Flush Toilet Paper?

The view was wonderful, room clean, and bed comfortable. The place is a bit run down, which is not a big deal to us. But, there was no wifi and, more importantly, there was a sign in the bathroom saying DO NOT FLUSH TOILET PAPER and asking that it be placed in a specially-provided closed trash can.

Perfect

We were running late for check in. They were very understanding and kind to us. The room had a beautiful view and amazing bathroom. Just could have done with a blind in the bathroom window.
Miss, 1-night trip

The foyer and room were unclean and we chose to stay elsewhere.

First, second and third impression was terrible

Had to change room three times. At the first one there was a smell that was so strong probably to cover up the smell of mold. The bed had spots and the wifi was bad. The second room was bigger but had to complain about the mold. I then felt like I was seen as difficult. The third room was ok after a thorough check, but didn't feel comfortable there after seeing mold. The restaurant was always empty. There was also wrong prices listed on hotels.com it was of course higher not cheaper. The one highlight was the chicken curry though I was worried about the coughing coming from the kitchen. I checked out a day early.

Me and my friend booked this hotel for 3 nights to do exploring in the area! I booked a double economy room with no loch view at a very reasonable priec. When we arrived we were checked in by a very helpful and friendly member of staff who kimdly upgraded us at no extra cost to a loch view room with 2 double beds in it! Which was also a huge room! The room was out of this world, the views were to die for, the beds were so comfortable and we had a large tv. The room was clean with tea and coffee facilities. All of the staff at the hotel are super friendly and cannot do enough to help you. There are picnic benches outside the hotel to sit and enjoy the view. The only thing we felt was lacking was a bar area to sit at. We would definitely stay here again

2/10 Poor

Bathroom taps were very worn and unable to use. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, could feel the springs. Bed frame headboard was broken and hit the wall every time we moved.
