I invited your house keeping lady in and she left out and came back and used her key card to get in my room she didn’t knock or anything just used her card to walk in my room and that whole night I felt unsafe, I don’t want her to lose her job just talk to her about it and tell her that’s not what her key card is used for

This was a last minute booking. Dumas Inn is a quaint establishment. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. I would stay here again and plan to if needed on our way back home.

The only thing that bothered me was their online site said that checkout was at 11:30 but when I checked in I was told that checkout was 11:00. I do feel like they need to get the two checkout times the same. Other than that it was a very nice. It was clean and the people were friendly.

Could not park a boat trailer in the parking lot for broken down cars and trucks that had been there for way too long They said had outdoor outlets for charging boats but when we got there they had no power to them. Had to move rooms first room toilet would not flush and ac wouldn't cool room reaked of weed smell second room could of use a good cleaning but at least everything worked in it and smelled better.

First of all, Expedia and this motel are both fraudulent, I booked and paid for a double bed room, but was told all they had was a single bed when I went to check in, so I was told I would be charged a lesser amount and the rest refunded, when I received my credit card bill. This did not happen and I was charged an extra $23, Expedia nor this motel was willing to do anything about it and said it wasn't their problem even though I have a receipt in my hand from the motel to prove it, what a scam, as well as the room smelled so bad we had to sleep with the window open all night because of the muskie odor which was making us cough non-stop. It was miserable, also there were lots of cobwebs and spider webs and every corner and and all around the ceiling, it had not been cleaned in quite some time, shame on Expedia and shame and shame on this motel. I will be taking this to the better Business bureau. Beware of anyone else who plans to book through Expedia or this motel.

This hotel can use some work. There was a dead bug on the floor. They didn’t give us enough towels. I couldn’t use the coffee maker because the most important part was missing, the thing that holds the coffee….. no ironing board and iron.

Double Pay
Well I had booked my room online and paid for it online. When I do arrive at Dumas inn I give the guy my Id and conformation number only for him to tell me I can’t pay online I had to pay the motel. That’s the purpose booking it online. So I had to pay again at the Dumas inn. I’m in need of a refund so the money it took off my card I would love for it to be replace back on it.

Bare bones motel
This motel is basic. The person checking us in was nice but failed to give us the wifi password, had to call to get it. Then our key card quit working. The refrigerator was rusty and small black ants were crawling on the sink counter. The remote did not work well on channel selection and no tissue anywhere! The site says they serve breakfast but they don't anymore. Pet fee is now $15 not $10 as listed. It is NOT very pet friendly as there is nowhere to take your dog except small strip of middy grass around the swimming pool that had broken pieces of pipe or something. I had to take my little pup all the way up by the highway entrance before she would do her business.
