We had a mouse running around our room. While I realize that "wildlife" is common in the mountains, a rodent sprinting from the bedroom into the kitchen (and back) was pretty shocking to me and my young children. The office was closed at the time (they are currently only open from 9-5:30), and we were already starting to pack up, so we just left as quickly as we could.
I reported the mouse to the man who was working in front of the office and offered to take our keys, but surprisingly he acted like it wasn't a big deal and just nodded. I also called to leave a message for the office but they don't have voicemail. I then sent an email about the issue that no one responded to. I would have expected that some action would be taken to remove the mouse so that the next guests didn't experience the same distress, so the lack of acknowledgement made the entire situation even more upsetting.
We had a relatively nice stay otherwise, so this was an unfortunate end to our trip.
