My rm#401 elevator was broken you had to walk down to 231 to take elevator up to 4th fl which let you off at rm431 to walk back to #401 so I took the stairs up and down my entire time there to not have to walk so much ask for another room without any luck !!! The hotel elevator was not working correctly, and one of the knobs going to the bathroom was off on the main level. But the staff was very accommodating. Bossy bus shuttle driver and the Hispanic front desk woman went out of their way to meet our needs. We got delayed several hours because of the hurricane and had to wait at the hotel and they let us use the pool

This felt like a hotel Marriott was taking over and was disorganized. There was no phone in our room so we had to go to the front desk to ask for change of towels, etc..The staff did not seem to understand English very well. The breakfast was extremely expensive. We would not stay here again.

Ground floor smelled like mildew
This hotel overall seems like a nice hotel. However, there are a few things I wasn’t pleased with. The main elevator is not working. This was not a big issue for me but it could be for others. You have to walk down the hall to use the elevator. I was on the ground floor which isn’t the main floor. The ground floor had a mildew smell to it. I was on the floor where the pool was but that is not an excuse for the smell and it was very humid. I had to keep my air down because my room was very humid and I sprayed so much air freshener because of the mildew smell. The room was clean, however, I would not be surprised if there is mold growing somewhere. The ice machine did not work on my floor. Also the tv, microwave, and refrigerator did not work. Other than these things it would have been a nice stay. If you book please do not stay on the ground floor. Staff were very nice.
