Never staying here again !!
We got in late. I reserved a non-smoking room. The room had a tag stating it was non-smoking on the desk. The room reeked of old smoke. It was too late and cold for me to want to mess with changing rooms. The next morning, when i checked out, I complained about the smoke smell. I was told they were in the room the day before and 'non-one smelled smoke'. That was it. No apology, no nothing. Plus, at 9:30 in the morning, housekeeping banged on the door repeatedly. Then they called a half hour later to see if we were still in the room. Check out is 11:00, they called me at 11:05 as we were preparing to leave the room to basically tell me to get out. The hotel was not at all full.

I Would not recommend staying here.
First thing we noticed when we walked into the room was a horrible smell. Then when we stepped into the room, we noticed our shoes were sticking to the floor when we walked. We had to put our shoes on every time we got out of bed to go to the bathroom. We finally laid down towels to walk on so we didn't have to feel the stickiness. There were two toilet paper rolls hanging in the bathroom and one of them had a blood stain on the side. Breakfast was also a huge disappointment. Your choice is either a waffle, using a broken waffle machine, timer didn't work, a microwave biscuit, or cereal. On the plus side, the coffee was excellent!

Not the Best Stay
I'll give you the good news first - the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in a long time. We were there for medical reasons and after my procedure I was confined to bed for 24 hours. The bed was amazingly comfortable. However, every time we went into the bathroom, there was at least one really huge bug - water bug?? roach?? It was disgusting. If we had not already paid for the 2 days and if I could have gotten out of bed, we would have left immediately

STOP ! Do not stay at this hotel. Booked two rooms for Family Weekend at ECU. In both rooms the comforters were stained. And I don’t mean a one stain on the comforters, the entire thing was blotted with obvious human DNA. Both rooms smelled of weed but wait there’s more…when my wife pulled back the comforter in room #2 there was a used condom in the bed. I kid you not. No way these sheets were changed. I was told that all the rooms were booked but that housekeeping could remake the rooms. I was introduced to the housekeeping manager who said that all the comforters were stained to a degree and that they were awaiting new ones. We were able to book rooms at two other hotels at a great expense because my wife refused to stay there. Now, not all negative, Annazette, who worked the front desk was very reasonable. After the condom incident she allowed us to cancel and refunded our money. It took some work dealing with Expedia but in the end we got a full refund. Fortunately I took pictures to document everything. This property was more akin to the type you pay for in four hour increments if you know what I mean. Stay clear of this dump!

They were packed the only rooms available were the smoking room. The smell out kind of decency. There were cockroaches. There is no description for the smell. Those room need to be closed for sanitation. WORST experience ever, I should receive some kind of compensation

We were supposed to have 2 queen beds, our room had 2 double beds. I immediately walked in and had to kill bugs in the bathroom and there were, what appeared to be, dried boogers on the inside of the shower curtain. We were exhausted when we arrived and were only staying the night so it wasn’t worth the hassle to move, but we won’t be returning.

The staff was very nice, especially the lady at the front desk. Complaint, requested non smoking room and got a smoking room. The front desk lady had another staff go to the room and spray etc. You can always smell smoke. The lady at the front desk tried to change the room but there was not availability . She was very nice and an asset to your company. Her customer service skills were very good.
