The hotel is located at an excellent location which is next to Kyoto JR Station (bus terminal, taxi and UBER). This is easiest place for you to go anywhere. There are two big shopping malls connected inside the subway near the hotel. various restaurants around the corners The staff can speak good English and very friendly. I will highly recommend this hotel for business or travel while stay in Kyoto.

Needed a hotel close to Kyoto Station - Mitsui Garden Hotel was perfect! Located on a side street with a nice, discreet entrance. Staff was very nice and accommodating with our luggage. Nice breakfast as well. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

Great convenient hotel stay next to Kyoto station
Lovely hotel, conveniently located within minutes from Kyoto station and underground eateries. Room and amenities very clean, and eco aware with the option of only topping up your complimentary water and tea bags, change of towels and throwing out your waste as opposed to cleaning the whole room. They also have a station of usual things you find in the room e.g. toothbrush, razors etc. in the lobby to reduce waste. There's a lounge in the basement that can be used 12pm to 12am for free hot drinks and juice. Staff are very polite and great, we had an issue with our first room and they didn't hesitate to help us change room within minutes.
