We stayed 4 nights here and really liked the place. Our room was very clean and spacious and the hotel felt very safe. The continental breakfast was excellent and had everything we needed to get the day started. There is a lovely backyard patio but we didn’t get around to using it this time around. The staff was helpful and friendly. There was some construction going on next door but we were out most of the day and they stopped by 5pm so the noise didn’t bother us. The location is not right in the heart of everything but it’s just a short walk to everything so we were fine with it. Would definitely recommend.

We had a ground floor "family room" which was very spacious, recently renovated, nicely designed with a large outdoor terrace. It was fairly close to many attractions of Porto. Good breakfast buffet and friendly staff. The only thing to note is that at the time of our visit, the street in front of the hotel was excavated for underground utilities work.

Great location, in the center, famous restaurants are nearby. We had a more than 700 square feet suite, quite spacious with a balcony facing the street and a terrace at the backyard. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the terrace due to winter cold season.

A nice boutique guest house with a good sized clean room with a balcony overlooking the outside breakfast area. The manager was friendly and accommodating.
The bathroom, however, was not the best.
The bathtub/shower had a very high ledge to step over. The lighting at the sink was poor. The shower pressure was fair.

The location is very close to the light train station, just 10 minutes walk. All tourist attractions and restaurants are of walking distance, very convenient indeed.
The host was very friendly and helpful, and the apartment is spacious, clean, and tidy.
There is a coffee shop nearby (sorry, I have forgotten the name) which offers great coffee and nata.

Like other reviewers noted, the front of the building is quite nondescript, but once inside, everything is wonderfully clean and fresh. The guesthouse is a very easy 5-minute walk from the Trindade station, but at the time of my stay, the street it is on was being excavated, so a little inconvenient for rolling your luggage or taking a taxi (just sayin'). Huge positive that it is off the main nightlife area, so you can actually get some sleep, if sleep is important to you. Great location for walking to all the fun stuff and an excellent option for more independent-minded travelers who don't require a lot of concierge-level services because the staff leaves at 3pm.

Lovely stay in Porto
Lovely small B&B (though about to expand next door) with very comfortable and quiet rooms with AC. Beds are great, bathroom is quite functional. So close to everything, yet a on the fringe of the activities hence much quieter. Plenty of restaurants nearby inc. the local covered market - a delight. Loved the welcome and attention throughout our stay. Good breakfast too in a very bright room with access to a covered terrace.

Excellent choice and value for money guesthouse
We were very pleased with our stay at this guesthouse. The receptionist, Katya, was an excellent host advising us in perfect English of local restaurants, bus/metro routes and various other queries we had. Katya also arranged our taxi to the train station at the end of our stay. The room and en-suite were a very good size, the air conditioning was efficient and the room was peaceful at night. The breakfast was also very good. We would recommend this guesthouse to family and friends.

Lovely little hotel in Porto
We booked this hotel because it was close to a metro station (Trinidad, 5 minutes walk) that went directly to the airport but it turned out to be a little oasis just outside the tourist centre of Porto.
There is a lovely garden and conservatory. A kitchen with an honesty bar, snacks and proper recycling bins.
The view from the front bedrooms isn't so good but the rear ones overlook the garden.
The bed was the most comfortable one we had all holiday and they had decent pillows too - a rarity in Portugal!
The continental breakfast was excellent too.

We stayed in the Perfection suite. It was unique and lovely. We were walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The staff was exceptional and soooo helpful. They made reservations for us, made a wonderful breakfast every day, arranged a ride to and from the hotel. We were treated like royality. Katrina and Lara were the best, would absolutely stay there again. Thanks gals for an awesome experience.

Best place In Porto
Before we even arrived we were sent information and questions to help make our stay more special. There was a really nice welcome when we checked in and provided with lots of helpful info, all the staff were wonderful. New Years Eve we were sent a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine delivered to our room and the girls made special cakes each day for breakfast. The room was spacious and quiet would recommend this if you like good personal service and for a relatively small guest it's very special. Well done for making our stay so pleasant - hope to see you again.

My concerns were about the arrival process. I booked this on the train from Lisbon arriving at 2:45 pm. So I didn’t get check in details until after I arrived, so if you don’t have data you are SOL as reception closes at 3 pm ( Get that , check in at 3 ,doors shut tight at 3) I tried to call from the train and train station upon arrival but no answer. Fortunately the cleaning staff let me in and got us sorted. Our room #8 in BUILDING 2 next door is actually suite # 2, 3 flights up. All rooms were offered breakfast EXCEPT our room , the family room.
All of this issue of course was my fault as I am not intuitive enough to figure it all out. Just read the instructions carefully, the access code is the same for both buildings, they hang the keys in the stairwell up.
Regardless the family room was lovely, large , well equipped and tastefully decorated. It is very close to the big market, the Santa Catarina pedestrian street, shops, restaurants, ATM’s. The Sao Bento Train station , a must see is within walking distance, and it is an easy stroll to the pedestrian bridge and river.
