Old and run down. Staff either slept all day or spoke no English so we're no help.

The room was a bait and switch. The room pictures looked nothing like the room we got. You get what you pay for, but this should not have been rated on Expedia so high. The room had two single beds and not a queen. It was supposed to have been non-smoking, but it wreaked of smoke. The room was so dirty that I slept on my sleeping bag because the blankets were so sketchy. The only redeeming factor was that the property was located in an interesting market area that is fun to walk around in. This is solidly a one star hotel and not 2.5 as claimed.

Firstly this hotel should not be listed on your website because the hotel is more for locals than for foreigners. It is not up to the standard which I expect from your website. The listing of this hotel on your website will only devalue your website.
Secondly, the location is not really within the vicinity of the airport. I have to pay to get to the hotel, while the hotel's business card states that free shuttle bus service. Please justify this advertisement. Obviously this is deceiving the customer. I want to have my CNY30.00 back.
Thirdly, no receipt for the payment. I paid CNY170.00 plus CNY30.00 but received no receipt. Is this called professionalism. Please do not suspect that I did not ask for the receipt.

We got picked up at 2 am after we called. Great instructions! We exchanged the currency in the hotel at a great rate.
Some street food places were open when we got there so we got to go out and eat. In the morning, it was close to lots of bakery, and lots of market places.
The room was clean and the wifi works!

Nothing special, is close the the airport and suitable for a single night. I would say for the price and location, you do get a good value. But don’t expect luxury.

I had a last-minute change of plans and had to stay overnight near Kunming airport. I booked late, and I arrived late at night and super jet-lagged. But the hotel management was great in communicating via the Expedia app to find their free shuttle. Overall, very pleasant stay. Good cheap place close to airport with free shuttle to and from the airport.

It's right by a lot of places if you were willing to venture off into the city. The streets were busy but I got in my room and it was very quiet! Front desk and the driver was very nice! I am pleased after a long day's worth of travel. Plus I have never been here so to be greeted with faces who know English -- was such a huge relief. They were so kind and after traveling for so long that is something you crave.
However some cons are: my bed is firm! Unless you like stuff like that! Then this could be a pro for you. But for me -- I don't like a firm bed. But the blankets and pillows were real nice.
This place is cheaper than the other places but I wouldn't know the difference. I feel safe here and being a first time traveller to China who is a female. Means a lot!!

If you have an overlay transit in Kunming Airport (KMG) then this is definitely a good place to stay. I had a 15 hours overlay in KMG and as soon as I landed I received a received a notification in my inbox : it was a message from the property owners stating that they provide free shuttle and to call them or message them to request. From the arrivals I called them and in 10 minutes they were there to pick me up. The following day at 11:00 AM I got a knock on my door and the manager was there asking what time I wanted to be dropped off at the airport. I needed a more quieter room and they changed it in seconds. It is a good place to spend overlays and long transits. There are places you can get food and massage (clean massage!) until 4 or 5 AM; all within meters from the hotel. The place could improve with some renovation but overall it serves the purpose.

Worth it!
You get what you pay for, but that being said, we had a good time. The staff was helpful. The beds had fun neon lights. The showers were cold though. We only stayed 1 night during a layover. In the morning we walked the neighborhood. The market was fun, food was good, and the people were so very nice. This is a residential area and not very touristy so we stood out.

Was a decent place for a lay over
It was a moderate stay. Toilet had issues and couldn't figure out the TV or heater very well. Was only there 1 night
