房間乾淨，一樓是共用區，這次單車環島，還有提供駐車架，還有自助洗衣且提供洗衣精免費使用，公共曬衣區還有電風扇，不怕車衣車褲沒乾，很棒．
整體雖是設計給親子旅行的模式，但對單車環島的旅客也還滿友善的．

停車是在門前的空地，空間很多，巷子走出去就有洗衣店可烘衣服(郵局對面，波波洗衣店)，離福安宮很近，走路就到，可以買鹹蛋、吃綠豆蒜，隔天開車去走龜山步道(登頂只要15分鐘)，可感受牡丹社事件日軍駐營的氛圍，遠眺社寮、保力、統埔(舊稱統領埔)、車城(舊柴城)，做一趟斯卡羅巡禮!

在台一線省道旁的巷子內，有一種遠離塵囂的寧靜。周邊也有便利商店及清心手搖飲，所以整體而言還算蠻方便的。只是去到民宿時，還是建議導航定位一下，比較快找到民宿位置
