We had a great experience. We initially visited St Gallen just to go to The Library, and didn’t realize how close this hotel was to the library. If we ever make it back here, I will definitely book this hotel. We loved this area.

Don't be fooled by the two stars, it's a first-rate hotel, great location (a few blocks from the railway station and steps to the wildly Baroque abbey church). After more than 200 trips to Europe, I known European hotels, and the Vadian is great value.

Nice Spot!
The hotel is very clean, well kept. The corridors are long and many doors and odd stairs tricky with luggage. Otherwise excellent location. In the old town. Handy little kitchen next to our room. Would definitely go back to this hotel.
