"Basic simple room in a new apparently purpose-built house about 10 minutes walk out of the old town. Don’t make the mistake we made - we thought we’d be doing hosts a favour by extending our stay directly through them only to discover that they charged us a higher nightly rate than Hotels.com. "Forte Village is a family holiday paradise. I will preface this by saying we were fortunate enough to receive an upgrade to Le Dune on arrival so this review pertains to this part of the property. From the moment we arrived, the transition from check in to entering our room was flawless. The staff were extremely accommodating to our two babies in tow and were able to convert the day bed into an infant bed and also provided us with a cot for our younger baby. The standout for this resort is the wide variety of amenities, and whilst it is certainly a luxury resort, children are made to feel at the forefront of their ethos rather than an afterthought. My husband ended up being unwell during the trip and so the kids club ended up being an absolute lifesaver for me! It even has a shallow pool which meant I could safely supervise both my babies while they went swimming there. Other exceptional amenities include the multiple pool, including an absolutely gorgeous main pool, the extremely beautiful and well equipped gym, and the diversity of restaurant options on site. The resort is connected to a crystal clear beach with direct beach access, which is particularly close at Le Dune. Finally, the staff made this experience exceptional. I cannot thank enough the kindness of all the reception staff at Le Dune, especially Giulia, who was checking in on us on a daily basis. All the staff at the kids club were amazing - especially Sara and Valentina!"

"What a perfect location to enjoy what the southern coast of Sardinia has to offer. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious. The pools were salt water perfection for a day resting on the grounds. The staff booked excursions and in room massages for us. The restaurant even baked a custom cake for my birthday celebration at dinner. We highly recommend!"

"Had a great time at Latana. It is a short walk into Pula, and the people in town were generally quite nice and accommodating. Nora beach and Archeological Park are both awesome. Staff was great. We had the breakfast plan and were quite satisfied with it. No complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfect."

"All the staff are excellent. Hotel is very clean. Room was lovely and the AC is very quiet. Our room had a balcony too, which we hadn't expected. Mini bar fridge broke down, but was replaced within 48 hours. We arrived late at night and had a pizza in the restaurant, which was really nice. Breakfast had scrambled egg as a hot option, plus cold meats, different cheeses, fruit, etc. Croissants were lovely, as was the coffee which was fresh to order. The pools looked nice, however the bar isn’t open until 3pm. But I gather the reception staff can pop up and do simple drinks There's a supermarket downstairs, which is convenient. And the petrol station next door, has a bar along with a 24 hour machine. You'll need to put your driving licence in it for over 18 purchses. Overall, very nice, very clean and lovely staff."

"An absolutely incredible, serene property for relaxation on the island. Christina (the manager) has a wonderful crew working at the hotel. The staff was top notch, very professional, helpful and eager to make our stay the best ever. The grounds are lush with flowers and plants everywhere that provide an oasis feel. The pools and beach provide space and enough lounge chairs for everyone, so there is no cramped feeling. The morning breakfast buffet is top notch along with the coffee service. The rooms are very clean and we had a balcony to enjoy early morning sunrises. The town of Pula is a 5 minute drive with many options in the city center for dining. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Sardinia. This hotel is the best."
