Nice hotel close to the Action!
Visited Salzburg for the first time in December. The hotel is in an ideal location to walk around and see the sites. The hotel is older but maintained well. The room was a bit small, but considered normal by European standards. We had medium suitcases to maneuver around. The brunch was very good!

One of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've had in a while. There's two parking spots directly in front of the hotel to park while checking in. The host gave us clear direction for where to park after checking in, and he was so funny and so kind. We really enjoyed our check in conversation he was a joy to meet. The room was very clean and the view over the river was beautiful. The restaurant and roof top bar is the best place to enjoy a drink or meal. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel! The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The room was by far the best we enjoyed on our 22 day journey across Europe. The room was spacious, the AC made the room very comfortable and the shower was outstanding. This was our first stay at Hotel Stein but definitely won’t be the last.
