Great staff
The staff were amazing. So kind and helpful. The animals on the property were great fun to see. Cats, chickens, etc. The pool looked clean and fun but we never got the chance to use it as we checked in late and left early. The room was a little run down but it was clean enough. The great staff made this hotel!

6/10 Good

The pictures were a bit misleading; our room was not as nice as we thought it would be, and the pool was very dirty (green and you couldn't see the bottom; I'm amazed people were swimming in it). If from out of country, don't keep a tab; pay with pesos as you go from the cambio in town or you will get a HORRIBLE exchange rate which definitely left a bad taste in our mouth as we checked out. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere and Taxis needed help getting there; not walking distance to much though there was a store and panaderia within 1km. The grounds were very natural which was nice; there are birds like geese and ducks and chickens in "enclosures" (pretty open). Sounds of nature instead of cars and horns. They have an onsite restaurant which had good pizza; breakfast wasn't bad though standard fare.

The property is gorgeous, large, and fun to explore. A lot of character and many animals. The pool is great. There’s a lot of potential but the rooms are in desperate need of an update. Old rundown furniture, linens, and the breakfast was all breads and a few fruit. You get what you pay for here. We arrived at night and didn’t sleep to great the first night, but the room grew on us as we got used to being there in the day time.

Not recommended
Overall the place was dark and uncomfortable, with crappy towels, non-fitted sheets that came lose during the night, no shampoo or blow drier provided, etc. Moreover, the hotel was located far from everything on a road full of potholes and mud. The buffet breakfast left much to be desired and there was hardly anything left after 1h of the breakfast start.

2/10 Poor

Disgusting hotel rooms
It is a disgusting hotel. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place deserves one. The people at the front desk were rude both at the night check in and when we checked out. It was like they went out of their way to make you uncomfortable. The duplex we stayed in was disgusting. There were huge rips in the sheets that exposed the mattress, which you had to touch to sleep on. We slept in our cloths, because part of the bed was just bare mattress. The beds were old and gross. It was soft and lumpy from so many people sleeping in them. The unit smelled like urine, as did the bed. There were the flies you see in bathrooms that have not been cleaned properly, covering the bathroom. The flooring throughout the room was coming up. Stains on the blankets , sheets, couch, and curtains. Too many cockroaches to count. Just an absolute dirty and nasty room. In the 5 months I have been traveling in South America , it was early the worst place I stayed. At $65, it was also one of the most expensive places too. Spend your money at another hotel in town. We found other places that were great in town. This place was offensively bad...

2/10 Poor

Everything about it, was TERRIBLE The rooms were musty and mouldy, dangerous to one’s health. I sent pictures to Expedía, Customer Service. The rooms are in total disrepair. No handle on shower sliding door to close when showering, just in the inside, this made it impossible to shower properly as water spilled outside the shower, we had to dry the bathroom floor after shower. Also, I don’t understand why, if I paid for the booking, they had to charge our friend taxes. He paid about $29 US approx. They said it was because he was Argentinean. Other hotels in Argentina didn’t charge that tax to our friend, since the bookings are in our name as Canadians. Our friend asked for an official receipt but they did not provide it. He wanted to go to the Argentinean Tax Agency to dispute the charge but without an official receipt is not possible. I don’t know how they get to be rated a “3 Star Hotel”. It’s not even a 1 star. I canceled my stay with Expedia. I am expecting to receive a confirmation for a refund of at least 2 days out of the 3 we were supposed to stay. Anyway, I don’t think Expedia should be advertising this business whatsoever, at least until they get their house in order.

8/10 Very Good

When we booked this hotel we weren't expecting much because of the price. We just wanted somewhere to stay close to the falls that had a pool we could use in the afternoons. The pool was the best part. The room was clean but in desperate need of redecorating. Walls were stained and marked, paint peeling and furniture falling apart. The aircon worked but made a terrible noise. The onsite restaurant is convenient but is very basic with a limited menu and expect cold food. You can buy a limited selection of drinks at reception which can be enjoyed by the pool. And hes there are about 4 roosters on site.

Who puts loud roosters and turkeys right outside a hotel room? They crowed incessantly from 4-7 am (one night started at 2am!) and woke up everyone in our family each night so we were all exhausted for our tours. The property itself was fine and the staff was nice, but it doesn’t make up for the lack of sleep. The jungle bird sounds are pleasant during the day.

It is exactly worth the $28 or so/night US . Old property, away from town, in a neighborhood. Has cut glass on the edge of the wall, our door was not fitted so there was a almost 1” gap where we saw out of our door. People were kind, they cleaned well as can, AC worked, breakfast low end. Kind of glamping in the jungle.
