Turin, loved it.
Loved this quirky privately owned hotel. So much more now than a corporate soulless place. If you have an ounce of bohemian spirit you will be at home here. Very arty old school vibe. I arrived on a Saturday when the area is full of street cafes full of young people and market stalls. Loved the museum of cinema..didn’t know the name Scorsese means Scottish. The food in the hotel was worth staying in for. And it’s within walking distance of the main tourist places to visit. The open market is full of locals buying their fruit and veg and there is a large indoor market hall selling amazing fresh food. The owners spoke English and couldn’t be more helpful. They ordered me a cab for the airport( I would recommend using one from airport too).
