6/10 Good

Everything was lovely & tidy, beautiful view over looking the other river and fields, i would definitely recommend. However there are a few things we noticed. The pastries we were given for our free breakfast was out of date, slight concern but not an issue as we had other options. We found nails on the floor from one of the chairs, the leg had fallen off and we tried to put it back on but it didn’t work. Looks like this has happened before. Had overnight company on the insect side, there were bugs everywhere in the room, but then again this was expected as we were near the riverside. On the other hand, it was very convenient to get to from norwich train station, was a really lovely area and quiet all day and night, just disappointing with a few of the things we found but wasn’t too major.

For the price the accommodation was very good. Small, comfortable and ideal for our needs. The location by the river and parking was a bonus. Bread and breakfast cereal were provided which was appreciated as we arrived late in the day. A microwave and fridge allowed us to prepare basic meals. Would definitely stay there again.

8/10 Very Good

This was a very nice room with lots of extra touches, between a hotel room and a small apartment. Easy to find and in a quiet location with lovely views, the accomodation was at the end of the owners drive but they did not impose. Plenty of goodies in the room, like bread and milk. I did find the location of the kettle, microwave and toaster strange but maybe thats me. No oven which is fine but would be much better with a kitchen sink as difficult to wash plates etc in the bathroom sink. A short drive from the supermarket and takeaways, a great place to relax after a long day. Better than a hotel room but not as good as an apartment, still highly recommended.

Relaxing stay and what a view!
Me and my better half stayed here from Friday to Sunday, when we pulled up the little drive to the house and the views catch your eyes as soon as you go though the gate, the house is small but cosy and very clean. There was a big selection for breakfast, Milk, OJ and natural yogurt were in the fridge nice and chilled, there is a BBQ grill outside that you need to bring you own coal for but there is a sainsburys no more then 10 mins away, there is also a microwave and kettle with lots of tea bags and coffee supplyed. the local area is very quiet and friendly with two village pubs, one you can eat in but we didn't as the weather was perfect to light up the BBQ also there a a few nice walks around the area too. James the owner popped around and checked everything was ok and asked if there was anything else we needed and was very friendly. All in all this is a lovely little place to stay, me and my girlfriend came home very relaxed and definitely wanting to go back in there near future. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a nice chilled out comfy weekend away.
