Excellent B&B in Knutsford
We stayed at the Rose & Crown 19th and 20th June 2024. Nice room with tea / coffee facilities. Parking in pubs own parking area at the back of the hotel. There is a beer garden where we had fish & chips and must say it was the best fish & chips we have ever had. Next morning we had full English breakfasts with tea or coffee and plenty of toast. All on all excellent value for money.

Disappointed
First impressions are really good but our stay was ruined by water leaking through the ceiling in the fitted wardrobe causing constant dripping noise throughout the night keeping us awake on inspection the wardrobe was full of cobwebs and had a damp stained wall and water damage which tells me this has been happening long term. When reported no discount given were apologetic but did say hope to see you again but understand if we don’t not great customer service. On a plus the breakfast was quite good location good but what could be a really great place to stay is let down by poor preventative maintenance and the accommodation needs a good overhaul

"We stayed for 2 nights. All the staff were polite, courteous and very helpful, room spacious and comfy. We attended a wedding after our first night so after breakfast returned to our room until we were ready to leave for the wedding at 12:30 pm. On our return we were pleased and impressed to see our towels and coffee etc had all been replaced after we had left. Breakfast was very good. We had a meal in the bar the first night would highly recommend the food. We are hoping to return again sometime soon."
