A real Japanese experience in a century old Ryokan at a great location with very friendly staff. Kids and wife and me all loved it.

Awesome
This Ryokan is incredible. The corridors and the room we stayed in are really beautiful. A traditional Ryokan with an onsen. Really great. And the staff are very pleasant and professional. Great stay here.

A very cute and traditional Japanese hotel, which is conveniently located right next to the JR train station. The property itself has done well to maintain its structure (nearly 100 years old). We really enjoyed the service and the experience that it offers, including the free breakfast (which is quite good quality).
The major downside is perhaps the shared bathroom and toilet in some of the smaller rooms (which we booked). Not having access to your own shower and toilet is indeed a bit of a bummer at times. Overall still a very enjoyable stay and the hotel staffs were really helpful and professional.

There are two things to complain. The first one is the welcome tea. The tea bags they got ready were not good. The second was the noise of the refrigerator. It was very annoyed at night. I turned it off.
