Stayed one night before starting our trek. Location was good, being an easy and safe walk to main shopping road. Beds were comfortable and breakfast buffet was good. Would recommend.

The staff at Mount View Pokhara made this trip special. They were very accommodating and helpful! The room was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the quieter neighborhood that was close to all the action of Lakeside Pokhara without the noise. Highly recommended!

Our initial reception was frosty to say the least. If the staff would smile more and make people feel welcome it would completely change the dynamics of this hotel. Unfortunately our check-in was not a pleasant welcome and this dampened the rest of the stay. There was one guy who I saw at breakfast and he helped with our bags and an extra rollaway bed- he was the only genuinely friendly person there- he deserves a promotion!! Besides that, the hotel is new and nice and has potential. We were in pokhara at festival time and they didn't clean the rooms properly during those days which is internationally unacceptable - if they are not going to clean thoroughly during festival time- they should probably lower the prices. I hope they can lift their game a bit and they will then be a reputable hotel..

Nice new hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with an excellent bed, a large bath and plenty of hot water. We had great view of the mountains and lake. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Nepalese are terrific hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I was really happy with this hotel. Loved the location and the cleanliness of the place. Breakfast was good, compared to other hotels. The staff a bit relaxed, but that must be part of the Nepali culture. The only think I didn't like is that during check in the room wasn't ready. The receptionist instead of giving me an apology and offer me a refreshment while waiting, she told me to go for a walk until the room was ready. I didn't appreciate the lack of hospitality after 5 days of trekking the Himalayas. I think the staff should be more culturally sensitive, since they work in hospitality and predominantly host foreign visitors.

We had a wonderful stay in Pokhara at the Hotel Mount View. The view of the Lake & Mountains was spectacular & we had a lovely big room with comfortable bed & pillows, ensuite, & tea making facilities. The staff were very friendly & helpful & made our stay even more enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them & the service was great. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting a worry free holiday in Pokhara at a top class place.

Visited Pokhara in May and spent 3 nights at Mount View Hotel. The hotel is relatively new (4months+) and the rooms were in good condition and well maintained. We stayed in a Deluxe Double room and had great views of the lake and the mountains (the skies only cleared up on the last day we were in Pokhara and waking up to see the Fishtail peaking from the clouds was incredible). The room was huge and we had a lot of space to move around. There was a balcony as well. Quite conveniently located, near to some shops and a 5-7min stroll to a nearby Halal eatery (Lazeez). Due to limited resources, not everything on the menu in the hotel restaurant was available. But the staff were great and very accommodating. Allowed us to have breakfast at 6am (they normally start breakfast at 7am) because we had an early bus to catch. Also seeing that we were students, the hotel manager very kindly made our dinner on our last night there complimentary. Very friendly and warm staff. Great experience.
