The hotel was very friendly , and both the hotel and restaurant were very professional and personal . The room was lovely but the meal was magnificent with excellent service . Would highly recommend

An excellent, well managed hotel with a good atmosphere. The manageress is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The other supporting staff are inconspicuous but the accommodation is kept extremely tidy and clean. The breakfasts are very good value and produced on the premises and unless you have a huge appetite, the basic offering should suffice. I had one dinner at the Auberge and it was noteworthy. The building is rather a ´rabbits warren’ so anyone who is considering staying, should ensure that any accessibility requirements can be met. Overall my impression was that it is a lovely place that I will try to visit again.
